About Dr. Catherine Flaherty
I am a licensed psychologist in private practice in the greater Philadelphia region, with expertise grounded in the study of how people grow, learn, and change across development. I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and young adults who present with complex cognitive, learning, social, and emotional needs.
My work includes both comprehensive assessment and therapy, with a particular focus on neurodevelopmental differences such as autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, and learning disabilities. I am especially experienced in helping families make sense of subtle or overlapping challenges and translating that understanding into practical, meaningful support.
In addition to my clinical work, I have shared my expertise in child and adolescent development through publications and professional presentations across the country. I value collaboration with parents, schools, and medical providers and strive to offer care that is thoughtful, developmentally informed, and tailored to each individual.
